We would like to extend our congratulations to two outstanding students of our Portuguese community for being honored with the Outstanding Student Award 2023 in their respective fields.

Ethan Machado, student of the College of Science at Stanislaus State, was recognized for his excellent work in Computer Science. He also won the Metzger-Geiger Award, which is awarded to the graduating student with the highest undergraduate grade point average.

Diana Borges, student of the College of Business Administration and our very own board member was recognized for her diligence in Operations Management.

Additionally, we would like to congratulate Dr. Jessica De Silva for receiving the Faculty Award for the Oustanding Professor of the Year. Her commitment to excellence in the Department of Mathematics sets a high standard for our students to follow.
